When I planned my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing stunning coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was adventure into history.

Honestly, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Wreck diving is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their Divemasters gave us an excellent briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what we would see. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel safe.

Going down was magical. First, it was just a dark shape in the blue, and then the wreck came into view. It is enormous. It's now a thriving artificial reef, draped in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted big groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of swimming alongside this silent, ghostly vessel is indescribable—haunting, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're a certified diver visiting Con Dao and seeking an adventure beyond the website standard reef, I cannot recommend this **dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive** crew for their expertise and for making this incredible adventure possible and safe.
